Calling all drivers in Lamesa, Snyder, Midland, and Odessa, TX: Big Spring Ford wants to be your resource for finding the 2015 Ford F-150. This pickup truck is America's favorite, and it has been drastically redesigned to make it stronger, lighter, tougher, more nimble, and more fun to drive than ever. Don't wait until tomorrow, today is the time for you to get into the Great American Truck: the Ford F-150.
The 2015 F-150 has been redesigned around an all-new aluminum body and high-strength steel chassis, which has brought the perennial American pickup into a whole new era. There are three different size cabs available: Regular, SuperCab, and SuperCrew, plus several different bed lengths. Shoppers have plenty of engine options too. Starting with the base engine; a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 with 283hp. Next up is a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 with 325hp, then a 5.0-liter V8 making 385hp. Lastly, there's the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, also found in the Explorer Sport, which harnesses 365hp and puts out more torque than the V8. No matter which engine you choose, it comes connected to a six-speed automatic with rear-wheel drive though buyers can equip an optional four-wheel drivetrain with a two-speed transfer case for real off-road prowess. The 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 is EPA-rated at 19 city, 26 highway mpg and can tow over 8,000lbs. The V8 can tow up to 11,100lbs with proper equipment. With the 3.5-liter turbo V6, the F-150 can pull up to 12,200lbs.
If features and options are what you're into, the 2015 F-150 has got them in spades and offers a wealth of ways to configure your truck. The base model is the F-150 XL, which comes standard with cloth upholstery, a tilt and telescoping steering, and AC. Add the optional XL Power Equipment Group and get power windows, mirrors, and locks; keyless entry, cruise control, and a voice-controlled Ford Sync stereo system with smartphone integration, Bluetooth streaming, and USB/iPod/auxiliary inputs. XLT trucks are the nicest trim available on Regular Cab models and includes all Power Equipment features plus 17” alloy wheels, chrome trim, and a CD player. Option packages on the XLT add conveniences like heated power-adjustable seats, a rearview camera, seven-speaker stereo with satellite radio, power sliding rear window, and an 8” display for the MyFord Touch interface.
The Lariat trim level is available on SuperCab and SuperCrew trucks, and the King Ranch and Platinum editions only come as SuperCrew models.
