Shoppers all over Texas, from Odessa, Lamesa, and Snyder to Midland, have been coming to Big Spring Ford to find great vehicles like the 2015 Ford Expedition. This full-size SUV is ready to tackle any job and take on any adventure; just load the Expedition up with all your favorite people (it offers seating for up to eight) and all your favorite stuff (it's cavernous inside) and take it for a ride.
The biggest change for the 2015 Expedition is under the hood; the old V8 is gone, and a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 has moved in, but the payload capacity and towing power are still there. With the new EcoBoost engine, the Expedition can do 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds, and the towing capacity is 9,200lbs. The turbocharged V6 makes more power than the motor it replaced (365hp, 420 lb-ft of torque) and is more efficient, so there is no downside. An automatic six-speed transmission sends power to the rear wheels in standard Expedition configurations. All-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case is an option if you want to explore off-road with serious confidence.
The 2015 Expedition comes in two sizes: the traditional Expedition and Expedition EL, which is 15” longer. You can find either size in four trim levels. The Expedition and Expedition EL can seat eight with a three-seat bench in the second row or seven with optional 2nd-row captain’s chairs. The entry-level Expedition XLT comes with features like 18” alloy wheels, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, power everything, cruise control, and Ford Sync. The Sync system supports voice commands and also features a ten-speaker stereo with Bluetooth, a CD player, USB/iPod integration, auxiliary jack, and rear seat controls. Option packages include leather upholstery, a power liftgate, remote start, towing package, and an 8” MyFord Touch infotainment system. The Expedition Limited includes those optional features and 20” alloy wheels, heated seats in the first two rows, rain-sensing wipers, front parking sensors, and power folding mirrors. A sunroof, power retracting running boards, and GPS are additional options on the Limited trim.
The Expedition King Ranch edition is a fully-loaded model with a touch of country style while the Expedition Platinum is its city-minded counterpart at the top of the line. The King Ranch edition features brown leather with King Ranch logos embroidered in the seats, plus a two-tone exterior paint job. The Platinum features French-stitched black leather with a contrasting stripe and monochrome exterior. Both of these elite Expedition models have all the Limited equipment, plus a few extra features. Standalone options available on any Expedition are the 2nd-row captain’s chairs, load-leveling rear suspension, 22” wheels, and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system.
Nothing else can carry the whole family, their stuff, and tow a trailer at the same time like a full sized 2015 Ford Expedition. Come on down to Big Spring Ford and see the Expedition and Expedition EL today.View Inventory
